I was very dissapointed to have spent over $100.00 for the kit & discover that the kit did not include the ceramic cutter for removing grout & the non ferrous metal cutter . I had to purchase both separately for an additional expenditure of money .I feel ripped off . I used both of the additonal blades & was satisfied with the performance !

i bought this from home depot(so i could return it easy) to try it out. i mostly use these tools for the saw i have used the fein for years. this didn't have any power i was just trying to cut a base board after about five minutes of trying i stopped and used my sawsall. then went and returned it to hd.it might be good for a hobbiest but not for a contractor.

Having owned many dremel tools and still own my first Dremel I was sadly disappointed by this model. I think it was rushed to market with the ending of Fein's patent. Fein is a much better tool all around. Even the bosch is better and a better price than the Fein. Besides the heat which is to be expected, the blades/accessories keep slipping out of place no matter how tight I make them. I dare not use loc-tite on it but instead rather have it hidden away in the shop for the tools that can get abused and if broken I don't care. The Accessories for this model also are on the cheap side, I mean cheaply made with little use toward their purpose. Skip this tool!

The first project I used the Multi Max on, it broke. No doubt my fault, but still it isn't very tough. I then bought the Fein Multimaster and it is so much better! It is worth the money, so skip the multi max and go straight for the Fein if you want something that is more durable. I didn't try to cut any nails with the Multi max, but I see others say you can't - I have cut nails with the Fein.
<br />I think the Multi Max would be Ok for light duty projects only.
