Kawasaki 840774 Air Hammer Set
So I bought this to break up concrete on the side of my steps that was keeping grass from getting good roots. The concrete was about 2 inches under dirt and grass and I originally thought it was only 12 inches by 8 inches maybe 3-4 inches deep. If that would have been the case I think this would have beat it on it’s own. However it turned out once I started getting into it that it was 2 feet by 1.5 feet and about 8 inches deep. This was no match, however with it I was able to get the part where it hung from my steps separated and then clobber the big piece with a maul without fear of destroying my steps. This thing also needs a lot of air to work (which I expected). I have a 10 gallon 4.5 at 90psi compressor and it could not keep up it. I would have to do a little than wait and repeat. I would say this pulls close to 8 or 9 @90psi.
Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. This thing is not perfect but for those that work on your house/car I think it is pretty handy to have around. If you do not have a good compressor with a decent size tank (I would say 10 is bare essential) you are going to spend a lot of time waiting for it to refill.
