I received the tools on a Thursday and was excited about them as I usually am when I get new tools. Put the battery on the charger figured after 30 minutes I could see how they worked. Since that’s what I have seen with all of the other Li-ion battery tools. After 30 minutes nothing happened no power tried the flashlight the drill and the saw in case it was the particular tool. Then I ran to town to grab some dinner. Tried the other battery when I got back nothing happened again. Well I gave it one last shot let one of the batteries charge overnight. Again this morning nothing happened. I have had milwaukee stuff before and liked it very much. But this set is the biggest joke I have ever ordered and they are going back.

I bought this set to use on a new house with a lot of projects. So far each tool has worked as expected and I’ve gotten very good battery life. The circular saw seems to spin slow (may just be my perception), but has had no problems cutting 2×4s and plywood.

I got this set about a month ago and as a contractor, it has been a great time saver. I do a lot of small projects and punch work and the saws work great for this. Anytime I don’t have to drag out extension cords I am happy. The circ saw has no problem cutting through 2×8’s, miratec, plywood, etc. and easy to handle. The recip saw has plenty of power and easy to change blades. The driver is has great power and balance and is far less cumbersome and heavy as the Dewalt 18v. I added the impact and it is a bad ass tool that handles large lags and is well balanced and comfortable. The charge indicator on the battery is an asset as well. BTW this set was ranked the best in Fine Homebuiling Magazine’s 18v lithium Ion test.

Great Combo Kit for the money. Milwaukee makes quality tool. Haven’t had any issues with the charging or batteries. Even the light is fairly useful. Hammer Drill is great with plenty of power. Used it to drill through cinder block when installing a surface mount outlet in my basement. I paid 450.00 at one of the chain home center stores, so 399.99 is a good deal.
